DIRECTORS
MICHAEL CIALDELLA,
Singer/Songwriter
Despite being a pianist and vocalist from an early age, Michael
Cialdella did not initially plan to pursue a career in music. He
studied voice at the Peabody Conservatory, but received his B.A.
in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
After a short stint at a communications consulting firm in Washington,
DC, Michael moved to Charlottesville, Virginia, where he attended
the University of Virginia Law School. Upon earning his J.D., he
headed west to Los Angeles, where he worked as an entertainment
attorney at Irell & Manella, LLP. While at Irell, Michael became
actively involved with the Friends of Washington Prep, a foundation
to support arts programs for South Central LA school students.
However, Michael soon left the practice of law
to focus exclusively on music. He wrote and recorded a collection
of songs for his self-titled debut album, which he released on his
own record label, Dellavox Music. He was recently honored as the
“Best New AC/Hot AC Artist” at the New Music Awards
in Hollywood. Now, Michael is on tour performing at schools, clubs
and a variety of other venues around the US.
Michael is a Founding Board Member of Creative
Counseling Network and uses both his artistic and legal experience
to assist with the development of the organization.
